Step 1: Document Preparation

• For Bachelor’s Admission:

  • Matriculation Certificate
  • Intermediate Certificate
• Authenticate Documents:

• Verification: Get your documents verified by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).

• Prepare Documents:

Step 2: Book Appointment with VFS Global

• Schedule Appointment:
  • Visit VFS Global to book an appointment.
  • Choose your preferred center: Lahore, Islamabad, or Karachi.
• Appointment Booking Fee: 14 EUR (paid online in advance).
• Verification of Documents Fee: 28,500 PKR.
• Submit Documents:
• For Bachelors: Matriculation & Intermediate Certificates.
• For Masters: Bachelor’s Degree & Transcripts.
• Wait for Positive Report:
• Typically takes 4–5 months to receive a legalization date from the embassy.

Step 3: Apply to Universities

• Prepare Legalized Documents:
  • Apply to universities with the documents legalized in Step 2.
  • Note that some universities require physical documents, while others use online portals.
• Prepare for IELTS:
• Most universities require an IELTS score. Use the time to prepare for the exam.
• University Fees:
• Fees typically range from 300 to 700 EUR.
• Gather Other Requirements:
• Research relevant courses and prepare your motivation letter and CV.

Step 4: Police Character Certificate and Residence Permit

• Book Additional Appointment:
• Book a VFS appointment for the Police Character Certificate (PCC).
• Appointment Booking Fee: 14 EUR (paid online in advance).
• Verification Fee for PCC: 28,500 PKR.
• PCC Legalization Cost: 80 EUR.
• Submit Residence Permit Application:
• Required Documents:
  • Financial Proof: 8,000 EUR (under 24 years) or 16,000 EUR (24 years and above).
  • Admission Letter.
  • Legalized PCC.
  • Travel Insurance.
• Residence Permit Fee: 165 EUR.
• Book Accommodation:
• Arrange accommodation through official platforms like Housing Austria, Ocean

• Schedule Visa D Appointment:
• After receiving your residence permit, schedule a Visa D appointment.
• Visa D Fee: 150 EUR.
• Book a travel ticket with a margin of 14 days.
• Travel Insurance:
• Use the same travel insurance from your residence permit application (valid for 6 months).
